Ready for the next adventure?
Seaforth, a Davidson 46ft Offshore Performance Cruising Yacht, is being offered for sale for the first time in 16 years.
Seaforth has been Category 1 certified and has ventured offshore on several occasions, and it's time for someone to take her on a blue water adventure again.
She is a very solidly built (ship lapped kauri with fibreglass inside and out), centre cockpit, comfortable kiwi cruising yacht designed by the legendary Laurie Davidson. She created quite a stir when launched in 1988, designed and built to sail around the world with comfort and performance in mind. She has two cabins (both with their own ensuites) including the large aft cabin. There are additional sleeping berths for 4 for when friends join you in exotic locations. She has had plenty of well appointed upgrades over the years and is equipped to be self sufficient for extended cruising in remote places.
A full sail wardrobe will set you up for any conditions (mainsail, staysail, genoa (radial cut cruise laminate), gennaker, spinnaker, trisail, and storm jib. ). Wide uncluttered side decks make moving around a breeze, and the secure centre cockpit makes it an easy to handle great offshore boat.
Extended remote cruising is easy with a full suite of equipment including watermaker, wind generator, solar panels, cockpit and chart table chartplotters, VHF, SSB, IridiumGo, DC diesel generator, diesel heater, fridge and freezer, extensive spares, and plenty of storage for food to keep you going for months.
Come to Gulf Harbour to view (by appointment) a piece of kiwi yachting history, and start making plans for your next adventure offshore or around coastal NZ.
