NZ35,000.1981. JOUBERT 35ft ChassironRF
BUILT IN FRANCE.
" Mon Tour" is a proven blue-water cruiser.
We've owned " Mon Tour" for 30 years & lived on board for much of that time.
We sailed her here from the UK.
Her hull is solid fibreglass ( 1" thick, with encapsulated lead ballast) full keel & protected rudder. Teak topsides.
Mainsail has 4 reefing points & the headsail is on a profurler. There is also an inner forestay
There is a spinnaker, gennaker & a hank-on storm jib. All are in vg condition.
There is an aluminium mast, with grabrails for safety, & steps to the masthead.
The stainless steel rigging was renewed in 2017.
Aries wind vane and Raymarine tiller pilot.
Well maintained, the Vetus 33hp. 4 cylinder diesel engine has 1,242 hours.
The engine bay is clean & has excellent access through the cockpit floor & from the cabin. Shaft drive with 3-bladed prop.
There is 140L fuel tank & a 300L stainless steel water tank.
The warm & inviting teak & mahogany interior sleeps 6. Drop-down dinette; double V berth in forepeak; 2 singles:- Pilot berth behind chart table, & settee in main cabin.
The galley has a gas 2-burner, Flavel oven & grill, and an Isotherm fridge.
There is cold & hot fresh water, plus seawater, to the sink.
The Head has a pressurised hot shower & a pump-out toilet with holding tank.
"Mon Tour" means " My Turn" in French.
Sadly, "Our Turn" is coming to an end & we are putting our dear boat up for sale, which we find hard.
Maybe it's " Your Turn" now?
The boat is berthed in Nelson marina. The berth can be transferred to the new owner.
( there is a waiting list for berths )
