Sava is a 2000 Bavaria 46 that has cruised Florida and the Caribbean for many years and finally made the journey through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific to Fiji.
The Bavaria 46 will perform well under sail, with good speed potential, stability, and maneuverability. This is a reliable and well-kept yacht and is designed as a Fine Blue Water Cruiser. Bavaria Yachts are all built to Ocean Category A - the highest classification of the International Marine Certificate Institute. This is the 4 x 4 of the oceanluxury yachts with a performance edge that makes them a delight to sail.
Sava has been upgraded and undergone an extensive refit. She is now a much more modern setup with the security of a solidly built yacht.
She has had her rudder rebuilt, bearings replaced, prop shaft out, engine mounts replaced, and realigned.
Her rigging was inspected in 2022 and some standing rigging was replaced as well as furlers serviced. The mast was inspected and some shieves were replaced as well as the necessary running rigging.
Most of the displays were upgraded between 2018 and 2022, and a full new bank of lithium batteries and smart Victron controllers were installed in 2022.
Her communications include Starlink and Iridium Go.
She also has an engine-driven water maker.
This boat is seriously set up for ocean sailing and is exceptionally well-tested for long-range cruising. She has a really solid arch on the stern, which carries the solar panels and other electronics as well as being used for dinghy davits.
Sava has recently undergone an interior refit. Details include: cockpit cushions replaced; the internal cushions are brand new. Removal of old timber in the ceiling and replaced with new timber and ceiling lining, as well as revarnished interior wood.
Sava is ready for her new owners to take up the reins.
