Oliver 3500

The legendary George Oliver built boats renowned for their seaworthiness and comfort, they were well ahead of their time and were built to handle tough conditions while providing a comfortable onboard experience.

'Southern Blues' was constructed using strong 2 skin glassed plywood, this construction method was chosen for its durability and strength, making it suitable for challenging NZ maritime conditions.

A robust, low hour Cummins 6BTA5 300hp diesel is equally happy cruising comfortably at 14kts with a maximum of around 20kts, or back at a frugal 8kts.

The boat features a simple yet comfortable layout with a generous flybridge and sensible cockpit. Large windows are incorporated to provide plenty of natural light, contributing to a bright and inviting interior. There are four berths forward, a side cabin to port with a 'snug' double berth and additional accommodation in the saloon if required. The layout is designed to maximise comfort and functionality, making it a practical choice for extended trips or leisurely cruising.

This vessel has to be sold and represents great value. A transferrable Waikawa berth is also available.
