Oliver 3500

George Oliver built boats known for their seaworthiness and comfort, designed to handle tough conditions while providing a smooth onboard experience.

'Southern Blues' is constructed from strong two-skin glassed plywood, a durable and reliable method suited to NZ's challenging maritime conditions.

A low-hour Cummins 6BTA5 300hp diesel engine cruises comfortably at 14 knots, with a maximum of around 20 knots, or runs efficiently at 8 knots.

The boat has a practical layout with a spacious flybridge and well-designed cockpit. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light, creating a bright interior. Accommodation includes four berths forward, a side cabin to port with a snug double berth, and additional space in the saloon if needed. The layout balances comfort and functionality, making it ideal for extended trips or relaxed cruising.

This vessel must be sold and offers great value. A transferrable Waikawa berth is also available.
