Kualani was designed for safe, stable, comfortable off-shore cruising in all conditions. She was built to Lloyds standard, as a result, she was completed to a very high standard.
The displacement hull, hardwood keel and high deck-line were proven when Kualani performed very well in big seas, during an open-ocean passage to the tropics.
Living areas include a centrally located salon/galley plus a large pilot house with lovely big windows. These make for light, airy living and great visibility from the helm. Kualani has full headroom and accommodation for up to 8 - however, she's perfect for 2 couples with a separate forward cabin with a head and shower + a double rear cabin also with its own ensuite.
There are large outdoor living areas with beautiful Matai decks.
The large engine room is very tidy and well laid out with reliable twin Gardner engines.
With only 4 owners in over 50 years, Kualani has been well-loved and very well-maintained. She has been modernised with upgraded electrical and electronics systems, while preserving her classic nature.
